Job Description

Summary: Responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products meet established quality standards and specifications.    Duties: Maintain strict confidentiality of proprietary information and intellectual property. Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials and in-house manufactured parts, determining pass/fail status in accordance with specifications and established criteria. Conduct first article inspections for die-cut and waterjet-cut gaskets. Measure and evaluate OEM samples, T-samples, production samples, and warranty returns. Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings to relevant departments. Identify, document, and coordinate nonconforming materials, including rework and sorting activities.  Other duties as assigned.    Education and Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience; or associate’s degree and 6 months-1 year of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in machine shop or manufacturing environments preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience working with design software Autodesk, SolidWorks, etc.  Strong proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.  Self motivated with the ability to work independently; demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and the ability to work well under pressure.    Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically throughout the day.   Working Conditions: Non-climate-controlled warehouse.
