Job Description

Our client is an international industrial company specialized in the design and manufacturing of technical products for industrial, infrastructure, and environmental applications.

As part of the development of its U.S. operations, the company is looking to recruit its first local Business Developer / Technical Sales Representative to support and accelerate the growth of its activities across the U.S. market.

The position is based in Charleston, South Carolina, with frequent travel across the U.S. territory (40–50%).

MISSIONS

As part of the development of the company’s U.S. operations, you will play a key role in accelerating business growth across industrial and environmental markets.

Working closely with the commercial and technical teams based in Europe, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while managing and growing an existing client portfolio.

With a strong hunter mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, you will actively identify new prospects, distributors, and market opportunities across the U.S. territory.

You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and client visits to commercial negotiations and follow-up, while acting as a trusted partner for your clients and distributors.

You will also contribute to strengthening the company’s local presence by participating in industry events, developing relationships within the market, and promoting technical solutions adapted to customer needs.

Finally, you will work closely with internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, Production) to ensure smooth coordination and successful project execution.

PROFILE

You have at least 5 years of experience in sales within technical or industrial environments. Experience in industrial equipment, technical products, machinery, infrastructure, environmental solutions, or related industrial sectors is highly appreciated.

You are comfortable selling technical products and interacting with industrial stakeholders and technical decision-makers.

Beyond your background, we are looking for a true business developer: someone proactive, persistent, hands-on, and able to open doors, build relationships, and develop a territory.

You enjoy field-based environments, networking, client interactions, and are not afraid to get involved operationally when needed.

You are autonomous, entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, and comfortable working within an agile and international environment.

Fluent English is mandatory. French is a plus.

Finally, you are willing to travel frequently across the United States.
