SALARY: £13.21 per hour
HOURS: Full Time, 45 hours per week, 5:00-14:30 Monday-Friday
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Patisserie Production Assistant plays a vital role in bringing our beautifully crafted products to life. Based in our dedicated Patisserie production kitchen, you will be responsible for the careful packaging of our in-house creations, including our signature Crackers, Nuts, Beans, and seasonal specialties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute, weigh and prepare all recipes/products as per company specifications
Execute all food production duties in a timely and professional manner
Adhere to the organic standards as set out by the Soil Association
Contribute to the award-winning standard of all Daylesford Organic products
Ensure that all ingredients are well organised, in full supply and ready for each day’s production plan
Ensure that cleaning rotas are adhered to at all times
Complete all tasks efficiently within the timeframe given
Work safely and efficiently to ensure that all daily orders are completed above the required fulfilment rate
Minimise wastage levels as much as possible
Comply with the production unit’s internal and external audit requirements
Aid the Head Pastry Chef in the fulfilment of the Patisserie’s annual financial/budgetary targets
Participate in the effective communication amongst the team regarding any changes to recipes, packaging specifications, procedures and/or operational
needs, and amongst the company and other customers regarding any quality issues/shortages in the required timescale
