Scope
The Senior Director of Product owns a major product domain and is responsible for translating strategic direction into actionable plans that deliver measurable clinical, operational, and customer outcomes. This role provides domain leadership, builds strong product management capability, and sets quality standards for execution and decision-making. They are accountable for aligning teams to strategy, developing talent, and ensuring consistent delivery and outcomes across their domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Use data, user insights, and healthcare domain knowledge to define and prioritize problems within a focused product or feature area, grounding decisions in evidence and measurable outcomes.
- Translate validated problem statements into clear priorities, user stories, and success metrics, guiding Engineering and Design toward effective, outcome-driven solutions.
- Lead discovery and validation activities that leverage experimentation, analytics, and customer feedback to reduce risk and inform product decisions.
- Ensure backlog health, release readiness, and post-launch evaluation across the domain, holding teams accountable for impact and continuous improvement..
- Align day-to-day product decisions to broader product strategy, understanding how their problem space supports company objectives and contributes to roadmap goals.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, and Clinical SMEs to navigate tradeoffs, surface risks, and maintain shared understanding across teams.
- Incorporate customer and clinical feedback loops into ongoing product improvement, using regulatory and workflow awareness to reduce complexity and improve usability.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 10+ years of experience in leading product management, including people leadership responsibilities.
- Strong applied knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem
- Solid understanding of healthcare regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
- Experience working with cross-functional product development teams
- Expertise in customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging HealthTech trends
- Ability to connect domain knowledge to measurable product and business impact
- Experience delivering products in regulated, multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong analytical and prioritization skills
Compensation & Benefits
