Job Description

  • Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution;
  • Maintain optimal level of customer satisfaction;
  • Identify all customer issues and recommend appropriate resolution;
  • Providing 2nd-level support by: researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, identifying solutions, carrying out configurations, performing upgrades, carrying out migrations;
  • Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams;
  • Write and maintain documentation.
  • Solid and extensive knowledge of IT data center infrastructure in general and navigate medium to large IT environments;
  • Experience with being responsible for the implementation of new databases and the operational management of existing databases;
  • Customer focused regarding the operations of the databases with focus on reliability and performance;
  • Able do handle the following tasks:
    • Preparation of operational procedures for backup and recovery, tuning, integrity, reliability and administration of database users;
    • Provide support to the application people and assets in setting up the internal structure of the database;
    • Establish and follow up robust database standards.
  • Know how to work on Databases in the Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform;
  • Fluent in (technical) English (spoken & written)
