How you create impact
- Build relationships with key contacts within customer organizations to understand opportunities for Kuehne + Nagel Contract Logistics that can create value.
- Develop and qualify sales opportunities to maintain a robust pipeline, ensuring transparency and visibility through our CRM system, fully aligned with the local and regional strategy.
- Lead RFQ/RFP processes by preparing written responses in coordination with support areas, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and presenting them effectively to customers.
- Manage administrative and reporting tasks to create internal visibility on pipeline status, risk management, and forecast accuracy, enabling informed decision-making at leadership level.
- Cross-sell the full suite of Kuehne + Nagel services, positioning integrated solutions that enhance customer value across logistics, transport, and supply chain offerings.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities, anticipate challenges, and provide insights that strengthen the company’s strategic positioning.
- Collaborate with operational and functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of new business, translating customer requirements into executable solutions.
- Drive customer engagement initiatives (workshops, business reviews, networking events) to reinforce trust, demonstrate expertise, and uncover new collaboration areas.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practices, leveraging data analytics, and ensuring that business development activities contribute to operational excellence.
- Assure Kuehne + Nagel and customer expectations are in alignment. · Maintain close communication with customer and Kuehne + Nagel operations team to assure uniform understanding of customer expectations relative to operational solutions, timeline, costs and results.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related fields.
- Experience (5+ years) with national sales and account management.
- Previous 3PL logistics experience (5+ years)
- Solid understanding of the theory and practice of supply chain management, transportation management in particular.
- English advanced skills.
