Retail Coffee House - Cashier Attendant

Overview: The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for warmly welcoming guests into our Collections gift shop. In this role, they will act as a shopkeeper—engaging with customers, showcasing merchandise, assisting with product selection, and processing sales transactions to ensure a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities: Provide knowledgeable and personalized service by answering guest inquiries and offering thoughtful recommendations on products and hotel amenities. Drive retail performance through effective up selling and suggestive selling techniques, enhancing the guest experience while maximizing revenue. Accurately process all sales transactions while maintaining the integrity of a balanced cash drawer and adhering to hotel financial procedures. Qualifications: Must demonstrate flexible availability, including the ability to workdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A minimum of one year of customer service experience is required, preferably in a fast-paced or guest-focused environment. Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing tasks that involve bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs.
