Chief Operator

The Chief Operator is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to Customers. The Chief Operator identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery.

• Must be hands-on technical:

  • Lead rig-up/rig-down of full well testing spread:
  • Flowhead / choke manifold / separator / burner
  • Independently operate:
  • Choke manifold (pressure and flow control)
  • Separator (phase separation, levels, pressure)
  • Perform:
  • Tank gauging and volume tracking
  • Basic flow calculations and adjustments during operations
  • Troubleshoot:
  • Pressure instability, leaks, instrument issues
  • Sand/erosion and separator upsets
  • Must have actively operated equipment (not assistant level)

• Associate’s degree in Engineering discipline or Bachelor's in non-Engineering discipline
• CARICOM national with technical qualifications and 5 years minimum experience in operations: offshore rigs, deepwater preferred
• Holder of valid CSME or meet eligibility to obtain same in reasonable timeframe
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Good problem-solving abilities, proactive, fast learner, good organizational and time management skills, positive attitude
