Job Description
- Use your home furnishing expertise to create inspiring room settings, vignettes, and sales areas that reflect the IKEA identity
- Turn insights from home visits and customer research into locally relevant, functional, and commercial solutions that delight visitors.
- Help shape the Showroom matrix to showcase a variety of styles, living situations, and price levels, creating clear visual impact and rhythm.
- Plan and implement range presentations with simplicity, quality, efficiency, and cost-awareness, using global tools and best practices.
- Stay up to date with trends in home furnishing and retail, contributing ideas in workshops and creative sessions.
- Support the department action plan with initiatives that grow the business, working closely with the Com&In team and other functions.
- Collaborate effectively, follow routines, act quickly on commercial opportunities, and understand the financial impact of your actions.
- Use the IKEA range to highlight different styles and meet diverse tastes and needs.
- Keep visitors in mind on the shop floor, minimizing disruption while maintaining safety and strong visual appeal.
- Report any security breaches promptly to the relevant authority and manager.
You have a background in Interior Design, or a related field, with a passion for home furnishing and everyday life at home. Creative and commercially aware, you bring practical, hands-on skills in a fast-paced retail environment. You’re fluent in English (Arabic an advantage), familiar with AutoCAD and Revit, and stay up to date with the latest trends.

This position is full-time and is located in Kuwait. It also requires a strong understanding of Kuwait laws, so the role would best suit a candidate that has worked in Kuwait in a similar position for a number of years.
