- Support RNG facility operations including anaerobic digestion systems, biogas upgrading and conditioning, pipeline interconnects, and injection infrastructure; prior RNG experience is preferred but not required.
- Develop and maintain process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), mass and energy balances, and other technical documentation.
- Identify root causes of process upsets, equipment failures, and throughput inefficiencies; implement corrective actions and preventive measures to resolve issues.
- Support capital project execution including scope development, front-end engineering, vendor selection, equipment specification, preparation and presentation of Financial Investment Decision (FID's) analysis, and startup and commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Monitor and analyze key process performance indicators (KPIs), recommending and implementing improvements to maximize uptime, throughput, and output quality.
- Ensure process designs and operational practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Support Sagepoint Logistics fleet operations through analysis of fuel system performance, CNG/RNG fueling infrastructure, and vehicle efficiency metrics.
- Evaluate new technologies, equipment, and process improvements; prepare technical assessments and business cases for leadership consideration.
- Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Management of Change (MOC), and incident investigation processes to support safe and compliant operations.
- Assist with permitting, emissions reporting, and environmental compliance documentation as required for energy production and logistics facilities.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to operations staff and cross-functional team members on process engineering matters.
