AI Engineer (Internship)
Experience Level: Internship (Bachelor’s/Master’s students or recent graduates)
We are looking for an AI Engineer Intern who is passionate about turning state‑of‑the‑art AI into real business value. Our ideal candidate is a hands-on Python developer with a solid grasp of machine learning fundamentals and a strong curiosity for Generative AI and LLMs. You’ll be the bridge between data, models, and products—helping us build prototypes and scalable solutions that are reliable, safe, and delightful to use.
Your primary mission is to build, evaluate, and iterate on AI/ML solutions—from data preparation to model experimentation and lightweight deployment. You’ll work within a collaborative team where scientific rigor, clean code, and user-centric thinking are the gold standards.
Python & ML Foundations (Must‑Have):
You write clean Python; you’re comfortable with NumPy/pandas, basic ML with scikit‑learn, and understand the essentials of statistics, evaluation metrics, and data preprocessing. You use Git, and you document your work clearly.
GenAI & Product Mindset (Highly Valued):
Hands-on curiosity with LLMs (prompting, RAG), vector databases (FAISS/Pinecone), and frameworks like LangChain/LlamaIndex. Familiarity with Azure OpenAI / OpenAI API and building simple APIs (FastAPI/Flask). A keen eye for usability, safety, and responsible AI practices.
Languages
- English (Native/Fluent): Essential for daily collaboration and documentation.
- German: A strong plus!
- Italian: Very welcome.
