Are you an experienced Occupational Health Advisor looking for a flexible, autonomous role within a highly respected Occupational Health & Wellbeing Service?
North Yorkshire County Council is seeking a qualified Occupational Health Advisor to join its specialist Occupational Health & Wellbeing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside dedicated Occupational Health professionals, delivering high-quality occupational health services that make a genuine difference to employees, schools, academies, and external clients across the region.
The Role:
As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will manage your own caseload and provide expert occupational health advice, supporting positive employee outcomes through effective case management. The role offers significant autonomy, flexible home working, and the opportunity to be part of a small, supportive team led by an experienced Senior Occupational Health Adviser – Clinical Manager.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will:
- Manage a varied occupational health caseload independently
- Deliver high-quality occupational health assessments and case management
- Provide practical, evidence-based advice to managers and employees
- Support health promotion initiatives and health surveillance programmes
- Contribute to positive workplace wellbeing outcomes across the organisation
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Registered Occupational Health qualification
- Extensive occupational health case management experience
- Strong clinical and operational expertise
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy workload effectively
- A passion for delivering proactive occupational health solutions that support organisational success
