About the location:

A secluded oasis at the edge of an idyllic lagoon!   • Job Responsibilities 

 General 

  • Is directly responsible for the day to day key processes in his/her area of work 
  • Assumes training responsibilities when required; demonstrates a high degree of standards awareness 
  • Actively offers operational, employee and customer (internal and external) related feedback to management 
  • Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule 
  • Adheres to the hotel's code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standards 
  • Is seen as working hands-on, assists colleagues in crunch times; Walks the talk 
  • Actively participates in briefings and meetings; facilitates communication between employees and management 
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment
  • Performs any other cognate duties as and when required. 

 Departmental 

  • Deliver the best coffee experience to every guest along with the highest levels of customer service.
  • Brew coffee, make and serve beverages drinks (include the design of coffee arts) as per Four Seasons Resorts & Hotels standards.
  • In addition to, the Barista will demonstrate the product knowledge to customers by advising them and making suggestions.
  • Responsible to train Food and beverage team members making different coffees and design of coffee arts.
  • responsible of requisition of all coffee products and controlling the stocks 
  • In charge of servicing/cleaning and maintenance of all the Food and Beverages Outlets coffee machines. 
  • Follow up with supplier for any coffee machine breakdown and regular servicing. 

Special Requirements 

This position is earmarked to be part of our Foreign Worker Initiative.

  • Candidate to have Foreign
  • National Certificates, (Bar operation) or alternative qualifications, (if applicable)
  • Certified Barista qualification (if applicable)
  • At least 2 years working experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel or in well know coffee shop
  • High levels of integrity.
  • Passionate about service.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee drinks is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience, energetic and creative.
  • Excellent written/verbal communications skills in English and French. 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Organised and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, during weekends and public holidays
