Position Details: Title: Inventory Control Associate    Department: Inventory Control Reports to: Inventory Control Supervisor Location: Hanson, KY Job Classification: Onsite FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Band: Business Support Shift hours: Friday - Sunday, 5AM - 5PM Job Summary ​​Inventory Control Associates are responsible for monitoring inventory accuracy and reconciling discrepancies between physical counts and company Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Other responsibilities include efficient use of WMS to evaluate product inventories, measuring and weighing products, organizing products according to protocols, reporting inconsistent or damaged goods, and converting unsellable inventory into available product. Guided by his legacy and our mission—We serve and protect all hardworking people by building durable products—we remain dedicated to upholding these principles in every decision we make and every product we create.   Associate Responsibilities Utilize WMS effectively to conduct daily cycle counts, investigate errors/discrepancies, and cross referencing all data points for inventory integrity/order availability   Effectively investigate and correct discrepancies found during cycle counts and adjust inventory in WMS when issues are resolved   Demonstrate a high level of system accuracy   Identify issues and provide solutions to road blocks, resulting in improvements to department processes and procedures  Record and report all errors and discrepancies including internal process failures and external vendor compliance    Function as a support liaison to all departments in processing of current orders and improvement opportunities  Inspect, label, package, and process inventory from returns into active/sellable inventory  Sort and ensure returns inventory is assigned and transferred to correct warehouse designations (RCV vs 3PL)  Responsible for the timely reporting of problems in the work area to appropriate personnel as well as maintaining 5S, housekeeping, safety, and preventative guidelines  Ensure each job performed is within set procedural inventory standards and conforms to all requirements of internal and external customers. Certified through formal observation and feedback process.    Required Education High school diploma or GED Required Skills & Experience Applicant must have good attention to detail and be able to work independently  Effective time management and analytical/problem solving skills  Effective written/verbal skills, and using simple math   Experience with warehousing processes preferred  SRT Certification recommended   Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Warehouse Management Systems experience preferred  Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Distribution Environment  Union and Non-Union Environment   Ability to work at heights up to 65 feet   Ability to lift up to 65 pounds; job requires applicants to sit, stand, bend, reach, lift, and move about the facilities  Safety requirements for the SRT equipment: 400 pound weight limit   ​​This position has an On-Site location: Associate will work on-site for all work-related activities.​  ​​Carhartt is a tobacco free workplace.​  #LI
