We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Coordinator – Real Estate Leases to take ownership of our lease payment operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all real estate lease payables, ensuring landlords are paid accurately and on time, vendor relationships are managed professionally, and lease data remains current and fully reconciled in our lease management system.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Licensing
- File and renew business licenses for 300+ locations across US, Canadian, and UK jurisdictions
- Maintain a centralized license tracking database, proactively managing renewals to ensure zero-lapse compliance
Sales Tax & Indirect Tax
- Create sales tax accounts with applicable authorities for new locations; prepare and file returns across all jurisdictions
- Support multi-currency and cross-border indirect tax obligations across US, Canada, and UK entities
Inspections & Certificates of Occupancy
- Coordinate certificates of occupancy, fire inspections, and other required inspections for applicable locations
- Liaise with local authorities and internal teams to track and resolve open inspection items
Tax Mail, Filings & Tracking
- Review incoming tax mail and route to appropriate stakeholders; track state, local, and federal requests through
- resolution
- Monitor locality income tax filings and respond to miscellaneous state and federal tax notices
- Maintain a compliance calendar ensuring all filings, deadlines, and inspections are organized and completed on time
Location: On-Site | Full-Time - Phoenix, AZ
Hours: Monday - Friday; Business Hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)
Compensation: $28.00/hr

Required Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in compliance, tax, or licensing — multi-location or multi-jurisdictional experience strongly
- preferred
- Working knowledge of sales tax regulations, account setup, and return preparation
- Familiarity with business license requirements, certificates of occupancy, and inspection coordination
- Exceptional organizational skills with proven ability to manage high volumes of concurrent deadlines
- Strong attention to detail; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and compliance or tax tracking tools
Preferred Experience:
- Experience supporting a multi-entity organization operating across the US, Canada, and/or UK
- Exposure to multi-currency compliance environments and cross-border tax obligations
- Background in healthcare or another highly regulated industry
Pay Range: $28 per hour
