POSITION SUMMARY:
The Site DBS Leader is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) at Tonglu manufacturing site. This role focuses on improving plant performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity (SQDIP) through structured problem-solving, Kaizen and Daily Management.
The Site DBS Leader will work closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business results, build DBS capability, and establish a sustainable continuous improvement culture on the shop floor. This position will direct report to Tonglu Site Leader.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote the DBS culture via training and practice, to create the environment, throughout the site, where DBS can flourish, while inspiring associates, driving engagement and enabling changes
- Promote a continuous improvement mindset, drive continuous improvement of plant KPIs across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity (SQDIP)
- Architect DBS road map: Matching site’s strategic, CVD and KPI needs with a DBS road map that delivers mid to long term results while developing organizational DBS capability and commitment
- Enhance knowledge across DBS domains with specific focus (esp. Lean). Build DBS capability across the site (e.g. CP/ACP/CT pipeline, coach/mentor site leadership team)
- Eliminate waste using DBS/Lean tools (e.g., VSM, Standard Work, Problem Solving). Identify Kaizen funnels, prioritize and align the Kaizen funnel for the key strategic initiatives, and be a keen practitioner of applying DBS fundamental tools across the site, lead and sustain Kaizen initiatives aligned with site priorities
- Drive sustained Kaizen results that impact the site CVDs/KPIs through effective facilitation and mentorship/coaching of leaders, associates and Kaizen teams
- Implement and strengthen Daily Management and visual management Systems, Partner with cross-functional teams to improve end-to-end processes

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
- 8–15 years of manufacturing or operations experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DBS / Lean / Continuous Improvement
- Demonstrated success in delivering plant-level improvement projects
- Strong knowledge of DBS/Lean tools and manufacturing processes
- Hands-on experience in Kaizen and Daily Management
- Strong problem-solving and influencing skills
- Ability to work effectively on the shop floor and drive change
- Strong communication skills (English required)

- Improvement in plant QDCI metrics (e.g., yield, OTD, cost productivity)
- Kaizen project execution rate and sustainability
- Maturity and effectiveness of Daily Management systems
- DBS capability development across the site
- Employee engagement in continuous improvement
