
Commodity Manager, SCM, APAC

Responsibilities:
APAC Regional Commodity Head
+ Achieve procurement targets in Commodity Management and APAC region.
+ Functional management and leadership of regional commodity organization
+ Own and shape overall regional commodity strategy in accordance with Global Commodity, Vibracoustic and BU Strategy.
+ Assure compliance according to Game Rules, signature directives and VC standards.
+ Bridge between regional business needs and global strategy & standards.
+ Lead regional commodity specific strategic initiatives.
+ Steer Risk Management (supplier financials, geopolitical, capacity) with mitigation strategies.
+ Own market intelligence for the region (new markets, index trends, risks, opportunities)
+ Strategic partner to Program Purchasing, Supplier Development, BU and Sales.
+ Lead process optimization for SCM- and Commodity related processes.
+ Strong stakeholder management capabilities to influence cross-functional and regional decision-making
Qualifications:
. Dipl. Ing. Oec. (U, TU) University / Technical University or Bachelor in technical or commercial degree or comparable.
. Purchasing Manager (3 years)/Commodity Manager (3 years)/ Project Buyer (5 years)
. In total 5 years experience in automotive industry
. Strategic thinking and strategy implementation
. Communications skills
. Technical know how in main commodities of VC ( e.g. Compounds, stampings, aluminum die casting, tubes, extrusions …)
. Project Management skills
. Negotiation skills
. Professional English skills, Native Chinese speaker.
. SAP skills (MM)
. Intercultural skills
. Business skills
. Team player
