In this role, you’ll combine data, analytics, and sustainability expertise to support smarter decision-making and ensure we meet evolving regulatory and environmental commitments. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll play a key role in strengthening data quality, enabling transparent reporting, and helping Novartis deliver meaningful impact for patients, society, and the planet.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Drive environmental performance reporting through strong collaboration across internal and external stakeholders
Implement and maintain processes ensuring timely reporting of environmental key performance indicators across sites
Ensure readiness for emerging regulations including Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and Green Taxonomy
Support senior leadership with data-driven insights to guide environmental sustainability decisions
Drive execution and delivery of sustainability targets across climate, waste, and water
Support assurance of sustainability indicators in line with ISAE 3000 and applicable standards
Support product carbon footprint assessments as needed in line with evolving guidelines
Improve data accuracy, quality, and controls to meet evolving regulatory requirements
Prepare monthly environmental performance reports for senior leadership
Support training and communication initiatives to build sustainability capabilities across teams
Essential Requirements
Master of Business Administration with degree in engineering, technology, or related technical or scientific field
Around 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in environmental sustainability preferably with leading consulting organizations
Strong experience in data analytics, performance reporting, and working with cross-functional stakeholders
Hands-on experience reporting environmental sustainability performance aligned with Greenhouse Gas Protocol and similar standards
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Strong communication skills with proactive and self-driven working style
Ability to work effectively in a global matrix organization
Desirable Requirements
Experience driving execution of environmental sustainability strategy and targets within multinational organizations
