F&M Bank’s Service Specialists are critical to the daily operations and are responsible for handling tasks and duties in our eServices business unit within the Central Operations Department. The individual in this position will primarily be responsible for Online Banking and Treasury Management onboarding and maintenance, Mobile Deposit review, Positive Pay review, Bill Pay research, fraud alert processing, and providing support for our Online & Mobile Banking customers as well as our internal Treasury Management and Retail Banking teams.
While performing their responsibilities, the Service Specialist is expected to deliver exemplary customer service to both internal and external customers while adhering to Bank policies and procedures and regulatory compliance guidelines. They provides support for a variety of simple to complex customer/department requests and issues on a daily basis, and assist with handling operational issues quickly and competently while maintaining a focus on customer and Bank impact.
Who are we looking for?
- An individual with knowledge of banking operations with proven experience in the features and functions of Online & Mobile Banking, ACH, Wire Transfers, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit and Positive Pay
- An individual who is able to assist with the setup and maintenance of Online Banking for Business and Online Cash Management/Treasury Management profiles
- An individual with strong customer service skills who is able to communicate confidently with customers and business partners
- Someone who understands how to prioritize effectively, is flexible and able to change direction quickly, and one that remains focused and organized when faced with continuous deadlines and requests
- A detail-oriented individual who is able to employ logical thinking and problem-solving skills with a common sense approach
- A process and task-oriented individual who is focused and able to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- A quick learner who takes pride in completing tasks accurately and timely while adhering to high ethical and professional standards while maintaining customer confidentiality
- Dependable attendance and punctuality by all employees are critical to the Bank’s success. Must be reliable and maintain an excellent attendance record.
Also required:
- Successful completion of a credit check is a condition of employment
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 or more years of relevant work experience, with knowledge of ACH and Wire Transfers a plus
- Ability to use various computer applications, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Multi-tasker with a desire to go the extra mile to service our customers
