Job Description

Job Title: Director of Operations
Job Type: Full-Time Remote
ARMRA Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm EST

About ARMRA: ARMRA® was born from a near-fatal health crisis that forced its Founder & CEO, Dr. Sarah Rahal, to uncover what modern life has stolen. As a pediatric neurologist, she turned to exhaustive research and ancient wisdom to find a solution—not just for herself, but for the growing health crisis affecting us all. Your body isn’t broken—it’s brilliantly designed for strength, resilience, and vitality. But the modern world scrambles the signal, disconnecting you from the intelligence encoded within. ARMRA Colostrum™ is nature’s original blueprint with 400+ bioactive nutrients that restore what modern life strips away. It works at the cellular level to remind your body of its original code and reawaken its innate intelligence—so you can reclaim your birthright to thrive.

Who We Are

  • Builders, not passengers – We take ownership, thrive on momentum, and embrace challenges.
  • Resilient and resourceful – We find a way forward, even when the answer isn’t obvious.
  • Mission-driven – We believe in what we’re building and are passionate about making an impact.
  • Direct and constructive – Feedback is a gift, and we embrace it in order to grow.

Who We Are Not

  • Performative – We don’t play games, manipulate optics, or curate an image for external approval.
  • Entitled – We don’t expect rewards without contribution.
  • Clock punchers – We don’t attract those looking for just a "job"; we seek individuals who want to build careers, take ownership, and find joy in their work every day.

The Role: We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Director of Operations to help scale and optimize ARMRA's end-to-end operations. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, this role plays a critical part in keeping the operational engine running smoothly — owning cross-functional project management, systems and process optimization, vendor and partner management, and operational reporting across the organization.

This is a senior individual contributor and operational leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution — a strong operational generalist who can partner across supply chain, logistics, production, and commercial teams to drive alignment, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure ARMRA's operations scale efficiently alongside the business.

Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership & Cross-Functional Project Management

  • Lead high-priority operational projects from planning through execution — including new SKU launches, vendor onboarding, packaging transitions, operational readiness for new retail accounts, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Partner closely with the VP of Operations and peer Director-level leaders across Supply Chain, Logistics, Production, Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance to ensure seamless cross-functional alignment and handoffs.
  • Serve as the operational connective tissue across the Operations org — identifying misalignment, surfacing risks early, and driving resolution across teams.
  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, CX, and commercial teams to ensure operational priorities are visible and well-supported across the organization.

Supply Chain & Logistics Support

  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Supply Chain and Director of Logistics on demand forecasting, inventory management, and fulfillment execution — providing operational support and cross-functional coordination across DTC and retail channels.
  • Support improvements in shipping efficiency, cost savings, and delivery performance by identifying opportunities and coordinating across teams to implement solutions.

Systems & Process Optimization

  • Own the research, evaluation, and implementation of tools and systems that enhance efficiency, visibility, and automation across operations — including ERP enhancements, reporting tools, and workflow automation.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and develop scalable, repeatable processes and SOPs that can grow with the business.
  • Partner with the VP of Operations on ERP and operations platform optimization — ensuring data integrity, process compliance, and cross-functional usability across all operational functions.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key operational vendors, manufacturers, and partners — holding them accountable to SLAs, performance standards, and contractual commitments.
  • Continuously evaluate vendor and contract performance, surfacing opportunities to renegotiate, consolidate, or diversify as the business evolves.

Operational Reporting & Analysis

  • Build and maintain operational dashboards and reporting frameworks that give the VP of Operations and leadership team real-time visibility into key operational metrics, KPIs, and risks.
  • Provide regular insights, analysis, and recommendations to leadership to support data-informed decision-making across the operational org.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or operational program management — ideally within CPG, health, or wellness.
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional operational projects from start to finish with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong track record of building processes, implementing systems, and driving operational improvements in a high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, 3PLs, and operational partners effectively.
  • Systems-minded — proficient with ERP, inventory management, and operational platforms (NetSuite, Cin7, Shopify, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — comfortable using data to drive decisions and surface opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and shifting priorities — you're resourceful and solutions-oriented by nature.
  • A builder's mindset — always looking for ways to improve efficiency, scalability, and organizational clarity.
  • Startup or high-growth CPG experience is a strong plus.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, ancestry, sex, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, genetics, disability, age, veteran status or other characteristics.
