Accountabilities include:
Act as the primary liaison between Operations leadership and IT, translating operational priorities into technology strategies and solutions.
Develop and maintain a technology roadmap aligned with business priorities and enterprise IT strategy.
Lead initiatives to streamline and optimize operational processes, improving efficiency, standardization, and scalability across the organization.
Partner with Data & AI teams to implement reporting, analytics, and automation capabilities to enhance operational visibility and decision-making.
Establish and manage demand intake and prioritization for Operations technology initiatives based on business value, ROI, and strategic alignment.
Oversee delivery of Operations-related initiatives in collaboration with PMO, Data & AI, and IT Operations teams.
Define and track key success metrics, including process efficiency, cost optimization, accuracy, and service quality.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure value realization and continuous improvement of delivered solutions.
Evaluate and rationalize operational tools and platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and reducing duplication and vendor sprawl.
Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory standards across operational systems and processes.
Drive adoption of new technologies and workflows through structured change management and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in insurance operations, technology, or related roles.
Strong understanding of insurance operational processes, including underwriting support, policy administration, and back-office functions.
Experience leading technology or process transformation initiatives in complex environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
Familiarity with enterprise technology platforms, data solutions, and integration models.
Preferred: Experience with AI, automation, or advanced analytics in insurance operations.
Location:
Downtown Toronto – Hybrid – 4 days per week in office
Salary:
The expected salary in this position is within the range of $155,000 - $185,000
This salary range reflects the expected base compensation for the role across Canada. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and scope of responsibilities. Trisura provides this range in good faith in accordance with applicable legislation.
