
Senior Application Manager – Business Resiliency
Job Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Resiliency Management team within Marsh Technology business. This role will be based in Cluj Napoca. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As the Senior Application Manager – Business Resiliency you will be responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and ongoing support of technology solutions for the Business Resiliency Management (BRM) Department. Working in partnership with business leaders and key stakeholders, you will identify business needs, define process requirements and system specifications, and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
This is a seasoned individual contributor role, ideal for someone who can manage projects end-to-end, work independently, support teammates, and collaborate effectively across the company. You will also help establish and promote best practices for software product delivery.
We will count on you to:
- Develop, configure, and maintain BRM applications and tools - Fusion Risk Management (Salesforce), Everbridge, Power BI, Mobile App.
- Code, test, debug, and deploy software changes, ensuring delivery aligns with project plans and timelines.
- Promote updates to applications in line with the MMC System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.
- Independently design and build small technical modules and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve coding and configuration issues; support defect remediation and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support for escalated issues and partner with the help desk to ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor trends in support tickets and technical support calls; provide insights to senior team members on system performance and improvement opportunities.
- Act as a technical resource and mentor for other analysts on the team.
- Partner with the team to develop project plans and communicate software development roadmaps and delivery status.
What you need to have:
- Subject matter knowledge in Business Resiliency and/or experience in risk management, compliance, or audit environments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software configuration and development, with strong exposure to Fusion and Everbridge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with SDLC/ALM tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Planview.
- Professional proficiency in English.
