DHL Global Forwarding (Denmark) are looking for an Business Integration Owner (with Project Management)

At DHL Global Forwarding, successful integrations are not only about systems – they are about understanding customer needs, operational processes and translating them into scalable and business-driven solutions.

As our new expert within this area, you will play a central role in bridging customers, operations and IT. You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, map operational flows and ensure that integration and system solutions support both operational efficiency and customer expectations.

The technical development and system configuration are primarily handled by regional IT teams. Your role will therefore be to ensure that requirements are clearly understood, documented and translated into functional and technical specifications that can be implemented successfully.

You will become part of an experienced and highly skilled IT/BPO team, where collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement are key elements of the daily work.

The physical work location is at Hedegaardsvej, Copenhagen S or Centerbakken, Vejle.

Your key responsibilities in the role will be to:

  • support and drive customer system integrations
  • coordinate EDI/API implementation projects
  • ensure stable and reliable data flows between systems
  • collaborate closely with Operations, IT and external stakeholders
  • troubleshoot and resolve integration-related incidents
  • support onboarding of new customers requiring IT integrations
  • document integration setups and processes
  • support continuous improvement and standardization
  • participate in testing and implementation activities
  • act as a bridge between technical and operational stakeholders
  • ensure alignment between local business priorities and regional IT roadmap
  • manage integration backlog and priorities

  • has a strong ability to understand and articulate business requirements
  • is capable of translating customer and operational needs into structured solution requirements
  • can bridge business and IT stakeholders in a clear and pragmatic way
  • communicates confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • works in a structured and analytical manner
  • takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion
  • enjoys improving processes and finding practical solutions
  • thrives in a dynamic environment where priorities may change

We expect you to…

  • have experience working with customer integrations, business requirements or system implementation projects
  • have the ability to understand operational workflows and translate them into system and process requirements
  • have experience coordinating across business and IT stakeholders
  • experience from freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain processes is considered an advantage
  • be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Danish skills are considered an advantage, but are not a requirement

Working hours: The position is a full-time position

The compensation package:

The base salary is determined by your qualifications and competencies. The position is graded and sit within a predefined payband. Besides the base salary you will have – just to mentioned a few of the benefits - a pension scheme, bonus scheme, 25+5 vacation days per year, and a “Fritvalgskonto” (a “saving account” equal to 10% of your annual salary) paid out in December.
