Job Description
We are currently recruiting for the role of Senior BIM Coordinator – Energy, this position is responsible for managing the implementation of BIM and Information Management on Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Renewables and wider low‑carbon infrastructure projects for Enterprise Capabilities.
Based in Poland in either Warsaw or Krakow office, the Senior BIM Coordinator will be part of a globally connected team that helps projects deliver coordinated BIM outputs and robust information management in line with ISO 19650 principles. The role will contribute to delivery excellence by supporting multi-disciplinary model coordination, common data environment (CDE) workflows, and consistent digital standards—enabling teams to successfully deliver at scale across major energy and infrastructure programmes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Project BIM Strategy – Execute the development of the technical approach for project delivery
- Project CDE Management – Execute the configuration and administration of the project's CDE
- Multidisciplinary BIM Management – Execute the project's BIM execution and delivery
- BIM Management Documentation – Execute the production of the BEP and BEP appendices
- Cloud Collaboration – Execute the configuration of cloud collaboration tools for the project
- Multidisciplinary Model Federation – Execute the setup of the federated model
- BIM Execution Compliance – Execute audits of BIM models and report BEP compliance results
- BIM Content Management – Execute the curation of BIM objects, families & templates
- Project Content Configuration – Execute the configuration of templates and create content to achieve project standards
- Quality Assurance – Execute the production & administration of digital quality assurance control procedures
- Technical Support – Execute data integrated workflows for energy projects & provide support, guidance & training to project teams
- Scan-to-BIM – Execute integration of Point Cloud surveys with the Project Information Model
- 4D BIM – Execute integration of necessary 4D meta data with the Project Information Model, produce simulations & animations when defined as project scope
Minimum Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 19650 framework and related industry BIM standards
- Experience managing and delivering project information on multidisciplinary Energy projects with geographically dispersed teams
- Experience delivering BIM data from Process Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural design and BIM software such as any of the following: Plant3D, Civil3D, Revit, OpenPlant
- Experience working in and administering a Common Data Environment such as Autodesk Construction Cloud or Bentley ProjectWise
- Experience executing multidisciplinary coordination, clash detection and issue management and an advanced user of any of the following: Autodesk Navisworks, Revizto, ACC Model Coordination.
- Strong background in technical production of 3D and 2D model deliverables for Energy projects, for disciplines such as well as Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and plants
- Visual programming – preferred, working knowledge of Dynamo, Bentley Generative Components and/or Grasshopper
- Demonstratable portfolio of BIM for the Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Renewables and wider low‑carbon infrastructure projects.
- International experience working with global project teams. Experience working on projects in any of the following: Australia, USA, Canada, UK, and Ireland, Middle East and/or Asia will be considered favourable.
- Communication - Fluent in English (oral and written), a team player and mentor, with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Technical design process and construction knowledge for Energy disciplines
Professional Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Process Mechanical Engineering, Design Technology or Construction Technology, or a related discipline project execution or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.
- 5+ years of industry experience in the BIM and Digital Delivery field. Must have previous formal multidisciplinary BIM Coordinator role experience.
