What you bring:
- Master's degree or PhD in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) years direct service experience with the mentally ill, preferably adults
- Two (2) years supervising direct care staff, in a health care setting preferred.
- California BBS licensed as a LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or Psy.D required.
- Two (2) years LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or Psy.D post-licensure preferred.
Valid California Driver’s License preferred plus eligibility to meet agency driving criteria
How you will make a difference
- Trains, supervises, evaluates, and disciplines assigned staff.
- Provides ongoing in-service training and continuing education on a regular basis for recovery counselors and for other clinical staff, as needed.
- Establishes and maintains an on-going relationship with county agencies, health care facilities, placement centers and other resources necessary to affect the continuum of care for clients returning to the community.
- Prepares, maintains, reviews, and assists in revisions, at least annually, the policy and procedures of the program department.
- Ensures orientation, annual education, in-service training, and continuing education for clinical staff members will meet regulatory compliance as well as lead to program and staff growth.
- Directs, coordinates, and maximizes the integration and cooperation of programs with other services and local community resources by facilitating collaborations and partnerships between representatives of the County, contract providers, and non-profit agencies.

24/7 inpatient voluntary program
16-bed facility for adults (ages 18-59)
Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services
Pre-vocational or vocational counseling
Medication evaluation and support services
