Job Description
Midland Transport is currently seeking a Reefer Mechanic at the Brampton Maintenance Facility. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude.
Shifts:
Sunday to Wednesday – 3pm – 1:30am
OR
Saturday to Monday – 6am – 6:30pm

- Conduct diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on reefer units
- Conduct regular safety inspections and preventative maintenance on reefer
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components
- Performing mechanical work on vehicles or components
- Ensuring quality of work
- Maintaining orderly and clean working habits
- Reporting nonconforming situations
- Assist with maintenance of trucks and trailers if needed
- Other projects and duties as assigned by the shop manager
- Education Required: Trade Certification / Red Seal /310J license
- Years of Experience Required: 2+ Years
- Ozone Depletion Card is required
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing reefer units
