
Security Ambassador - Part -Time (Horseshoe Hammond)
Job Description
Perform duties to monitor the activities of the staff and guests to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines and safety rules. Take necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of operations. Exercise good judgment to ensure the safety and security of the guests, staff and assets within the limits of standard or accepted policies and procedures.
- Staff various posts as assigned.
- Coordinate with Surveillance on monitoring critical areas.
- Maintain presence and take action to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff and organizational assets.
- Monitor and control guest access to and from the vessels or non-public areas.
- Escort movements of money to and from the gaming tables, cage, vault and slot machines.
- Complete all paperwork on incidents and actions taken.
- Help to arrest and/or physically restrain a resistant individual.
- Remove and detain in a security area unruly and disruptive individuals or persons engaged in criminal activity.
- Other duties as assigned
- ROP $19/HR
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Proficient in English verbal and written
- Equivalent to a high school diploma, with knowledge of security procedures.
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
- 1-2 years of specialized training in security is preferred.
- Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission
- Access to the vessel required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk/stand for 100% of shift.
- Must be able to bend, reach, and twist when needed.
- Ability to work in hot/cold environments
- Ability to work in a smoking environment
- Must be able to work in loud environments.
