Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Flex Forming - 2nd Shift to join our team in Beltsville, MD!
The core hours are 3 pm - 11:30 pm.
The hourly rate for this position is $27.50 per hour + 10% shift premium.

What you’ll do:
• Operate shear, roller, planishing machine to make slugs/cuffs.
• Operate hydraulic C-frame presses and/or Hydroforming equipment.
• Polish parts to specifications.
• Pressure test aircraft ducting systems using High Pressure and Burst Tests
• Read and interpret blueprints and in accordance with standard shop practices.
• Ensure quality of parts through visual inspection and physical measurement using a wide variety of hand tools and gages.
• Work in accordance with general safety rules and practices.
• Keep immediate work area clean and free from hazards.
• Responsible for finished parts conformity to print or specification.
• Participate in continuous improvement of processes.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualification:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.

Skills/Position Criteria:
• Position requires advanced shop math and use of precision measuring instruments such as dial calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, and depth gauges
• Basic understanding of blueprint drawings and ability to follow detailed written instructions
• Position requires exposure to oil, dirt, and heat.
• Ability to certify Seam Welding, and/or Laser Welding
• Position requires wearing PPE including apron, safety glasses, and hearing protection
• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand 8 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation.
