We are seeking a motivated professional for a 16 month fixed-term parental leave substitution as Senior Manager, Group Accounting. You will take ownership of key group accounting areas within our statutory monthly reporting cycle, ensuring high-quality and timely financial close processes.
Where you’ll be
This role is based at our Headquarters in Espoo, Finland.
What you'll be doing
Lead assigned Group Accounting areas throughout the monthly statutory reporting and close cycle.
Own monthly close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial controls, and reporting pack preparation.
Strengthen internal controls, enhance process documentation, and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
Manage and coordinate Group audit activities, working closely with internal teams and external auditors.
Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors on Group consolidation and statutory reporting matters.
What you’ll bring to the role
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Extensive experience in group accounting, financial consolidation, and statutory reporting.
Strong track record of managing financial close processes with excellent problem-solving and execution skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, and consolidation tools.
Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
Strong understanding of internal controls, governance, documentation, and continuous process improvement.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
