Child Care Assistant I PT (2026-2027)

Schedule:

• Monday�Thursday, 9:00 am�12:30 pm (only when preschool is in session)

Position Summary:

• The Preschool Aide supports the Early Childhood Education teacher in maintaining a safe, engaging, and organized preschool environment. This position helps ensure the preschool runs smoothly during operational days.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist the teacher with classroom activities and supervision of children
-Organize, set up, and put away classroom materials and supplies' 
-Help with ordering and managing classroom supplies
-Prepare for holidays and special events
-Communicate with parents as needed
-Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment
-Perform other duties as assigned to support preschool operations

Qualifications:

-Experience working with young children preferred
-Strong organizational and communication skills
-Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
-Dependable and punctual

Lane 1 Step 1 ($17.53/Hour) Not Highly Qualified
Lane 2 Step 1 ($18.51/Hour) Associate's degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or
