Job Description

North Allegheny School District seeks candidates to fill a 50% Art Long-Term Substitute position at Franklin Elementary School, effective August 13, 2026 through June 1, 2027.
The Art Teacher develops students' understanding of art including the organization of visual ways to communicate ideas and express emotion. The teacher identifies, promotes, and develops each student's talents in visual art expression in a safe and supportive learning environment.
Bachelor's Degree and Applicable Pennsylvania Teaching Certification are required.
Current clearances are required and include:
- Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA Criminal Record Check
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training
- Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment Physical and TB Test.
