About Unfiltered YYC

Unfiltered YYC is a modern beauty coworking space designed for independent beauty and wellness professionals. Our space combines elevated hospitality, premium studio rentals, and a collaborative community environment for creatives in the beauty industry.

We are currently seeking an experienced Reception & Client Experience Coordinator who thrives in customer-facing environments and takes pride in creating exceptional first impressions. This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, possesses strong emotional intelligence, and understands how to provide elevated client service in a professional setting.

This is a part-time position with the potential to transition into full-time employment for the right candidate.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a minimum of 3 years of reception, concierge, hospitality, salon, spa, medical office, or luxury customer service experience
  • Demonstrates exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Possesses high emotional intelligence and professionalism
  • Can confidently navigate difficult conversations while maintaining a positive client experience
  • Is highly organized, proactive, and able to anticipate needs before they arise
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities independently
  • Takes ownership of their role and contributes positively to team culture
  • Is seeking a long-term opportunity with room for growth

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and check in guests, clients, and tenants with warmth, professionalism, and confidence
  • Create a memorable and elevated client experience from arrival to departure
  • Manage front desk operations and maintain an organized, polished reception environment
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist with scheduling, bookings, and appointment coordination
  • Support beauty professionals with day-to-day operational needs
  • Maintain coffee bar and lounge areas to a high standard
  • Process retail sales and payments
  • Coordinate deliveries, mail, and inventory supplies
  • Assist with social media engagement and community-building initiatives
  • Ensure the space consistently reflects the Unfiltered YYC brand and client experience standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant reception, hospitality, concierge, or customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Proven ability to remain professional and composed under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable using booking software, POS systems, and technology platforms
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Interest in beauty, wellness, and luxury client experiences is considered an asset

Schedule
