Job Description

Job Title:  Supervisor, Golden Bee  Pay Rate: $28.00-$36.00 per hour inclusive of hourly pay rate + service charge*  *$28.00 - $36.00 per hour based on $12.00 per hour base wage + service charge commission paid per shift; historically, this position averages service charge commission earnings of $16.00-$24.00 per hour.  Service charges are commissions and will fluctuate based on events and time of year.   This position always earns at least the current Colorado minimum wage $15.16 per hour  Job Summary: The Broadmoor is committed to creating a culture of family and community while simultaneously providing a genuine, unforgettable experience for our guests and team. This role will play a key part in continuing to uphold our reputation and providing exceptional service to our guests.  As a member of the Food and Beverage team, this person will supervise shift team members in the Golden Bee and coordinate all dining room activities to provide courteous and rapid service to all guests. Our employees represent the Broadmoor brand and are Ambassadors of our Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond Standards. Learn more about Broadmoor here.  What you will be doing:  Oversee operations in the Golden Bee  Adjust complaints regarding food or service  Train and monitor dining room employees for proper service  Schedule staff  Check reservations for special parties and verify complete instructions for said parties  Present menu to the guests, offer recommendations and descriptions for the purpose of assisting and upselling the menu  Assist wait staff in retrieving items from the kitchen and bar, serving when necessary  Assist the bartender as needed  Ensure station and side-work are complete prior to staff leaving  Train and orient new employees  Oversee the door and assist hosts/hostesses  Serve and maintain a thorough knowledge of wine and cocktails  Ensure that all appropriate paperwork is complete and turned in  Greet patrons and direct them to their table  Utilize the computer to block and place detailed guest restaurant reservations in the ResPak computer system  Utilize the computer to place reservations in the “Guest Itinerary”  Assist Manager with assigned duties  Be flexible and positive to changes required to enhance guest experience or to meet the fiscal needs of the organization  Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment  Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines  This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.     Experience and comfort working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook); Accounting software; Inventory software; Payroll systems; and Order processing systems   Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others  Strong interpersonal communication skills  Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as business dictates; late nights may be required  *Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities*  Don’t meet all the qualifications/required skills?
