Responsibilities
The AVP Cash Management Sales leads and directs all aspects of the Credit Union’s Cash Management sales function, with a focus on driving a cost centric, analytics based sales model that reduces reliance on referral based activity. This role is accountable for quality portfolio growth, pricing discipline, account security, revenue optimization, and exceptional member service. Responsibilities include oversight of Cash Management processing, controls, settlement, and portfolio expansion, as well as ownership of the annual operating budget and revenue growth objectives.
This position supports strategic and annual business planning by developing and implementing business plans and SOPs that enhance the sales team’s understanding of market dynamics, member demographics, and growth opportunities. The AVP drives the Cash Management sales function by ensuring the sales team effectively recommends appropriate products and manages vendor relationships, while maintaining regulatory and network compliance. Additionally, the role evaluates product and pricing effectiveness, monitors competitive positioning, provides strategic analysis of Members 1st’s Cash Management sales performance relative to peers, and recommends enhancements to products, pricing, and systems. With limited supervision, the AVP oversees staff development and performance and fosters a collaborative, accountable team culture focused on sustainable growth.

• Demonstrated knowledge of cash management services, including analysis of appropriate financial information

• Advanced proficiency in policy and process documentation and execution
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations governing deposit accounts
• General knowledge of deposit accounts and payment processing theory, industry practices and Credit Union policies
• Familiarity with PCs and applicable software

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to sit for extended time periods
• Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
• Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
• Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects

We are excited to offer a competitive salary for this position. This figure serves as the entry point in our salary range, and there is potential for the actual salary to be higher based on a variety of factors, such as your experience, skills, education, and location.
