Job Description
Centrally located on Interstate 94 less than 25 miles northwest of Maple Grove and 30 miles southeast of Saint Cloud, Monticello is home to five brick and mortar schools and two nature-based facilities serving more than 4,000 students annually. Summer Intern - Technology Support
Part - Time / Temporary Position
Up to 30 Hours / Week
Available June 1, 2026 through August 28, 2026
JOB SUMMARY: The Desktop Support contributes to the effective and efficient technology operations in the district. Provides troubleshooting and technical support for those using district systems. Provides diagnosis, support of software, equipment, and maintenance/repair of computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, projectors, sound fields, SMART Boards, phones and other peripherals. Assists with maintenance of district systems at the direction of the Director of Technology. Assists with district-level technology implementations. Supports the academic mission, district goals, and policies.
Education and Certification:
- Preferred: 2-year AAS degree with an emphasis or major in IT or technology-related field.
- Required: Valid Driver's License.
Experience:
- Required: Experience with technology, device support, and web-based systems support.
- Required: Working knowledge of Google Chrome, Microsoft-based devices, Apple devices, and related systems.
- Required: Experience with customer service and support.
- Preferred: At least 1 year of experience with device support and technology applications in an educational environment.

Hourly Rate: Up to $25 / Hour
