Job Description

The role is responsible for delivering data services, either Data Quality Analytics (DQA) or Data Guaranteed (DG), as per agreed scope and service level with customer

  • Complete timely, weekly & monthly DQA related reports so that customers can attain supply chain information more conveniently and efficiently 

  • Support in closing the gap of missing events or milestones for DG customers.

  • Regularly abstracts related shipment data from system to check missing or inaccurate information.

  • Clarifies and follows up with concerned parties on root cause of data discrepancies.

  • Reconciles internally as well as externally when any issue is found.

  • Reviews contract / agreement and works with Logistics Analyst (LA) to renew if they are about to expire.

  • Provides proactive monitoring of customer-facing data.

  • Validates accuracy and timeliness of EDI events as requested by the customer

  • Tracks shipment milestones and reports any missing events with associated reasons.

  • Works with responsible service provider for error resolution and update status timely

  • Tracks missing milestones and updates APLL system as per agreed SLA to make sure customers get complete and timely data.

  • Must have completed a bachelor's degree; Mathematics or Computer Science major is preferred.
  • Integrity with strong sense of trust and responsibility
  • Ability to learn new knowledge and skills quickly
  • Good understanding of data management, data analytics, business intelligence or area related to their assigned product/program. 
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Highly proficient in SQL
  • Knowledgeable in any modern programming language, Preferred
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Good in reading, written and spoken English
  • Possess data analytical skills and logical thinking
  • Attention to details and result-oriented
  • Self-motivated and willing to work under pressure
  • Strong organization skills and ability to follow documented procedures
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Background in freight forwarding, consolidation and logistics is preferred
  • Some technical knowledge in SQL, programming languages, BI related software
