Moraga Post Acute
Starting Rate: $58-$63+/hour
Moraga Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping residents regain independence, improve daily function, and enhance their quality of life.
What You'll Do
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on their functional needs and rehabilitation goals.
Provide skilled occupational therapy services to improve independence with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Supervise and collaborate with Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with state regulations.
Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Participate in care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and discharge planning.
Educate residents and caregivers on treatment goals, home programs, safety techniques, and fall prevention.
Recommend adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment (DME) to support resident independence.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and staff education programs.
Qualifications
Current California Occupational Therapist (OTR) License required.
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
