Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time (40-hour) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Internal Medicine team. The position includes 36 hours of direct patient care and 4 hours of administrative time each week. Providers are expected to build and maintain a patient panel of at least 300 patients. Once this panel size is achieved, the schedule will transition to 32 hours of direct patient care and 8 hours of administrative time per week.Our practice is located at 104 Endicott Street, Suites 102 & 104, Danvers, MA 01923. We provide comprehensive adult primary care services, including preventive care, routine health screenings, and annual physical examinations.
The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and we offer flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance.

Summary
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed provider. The NP is responsible for assessing and managing various patient populations, including those with medical and/or surgical conditions, as well as providing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, developing appropriate plans of care, and conducting ongoing evaluations.

Essential Functions
-Provides direct care, counseling, and education to a designated patient population in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings.
-Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
-Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
-Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on the outcomes of diagnostic, laboratory, and physical examination findings.
-Consistently provides high-quality and timely documentation, including admission and progress notes, procedure notes, operative notes, and discharge summaries.
-Performs bedside procedures as are appropriate to the patient population.
-Orders medications and writes prescriptions in accordance with organizational and regulatory policies and procedures.

Experience as a Nurse Practitioner 0-1 year preferred
