This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures

Tasks

With the 1+2 Industrial Maintenance Training Program you can get paid while learning a trade. Students in the program complete a 12 months Industrial maintenance training program; working ½ day at the Council Bluffs Case Ready facility and attending school ½ day at Iowa Western Community College (IWCC). The employee commits to working full-time in the maintenance department at the Council Bluffs Case Ready facility for a minimum period of two (2) continuous year upon successful completion of the program. Successful candidate must be willing to work any shift upon completion of the training program; must be able to work holidays, weekends, and nights.

Requirements

Applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent. Prior mechanical training or experience considered a plus.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
