The Opportunity:
Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Location: Walnut Creek, CA (Rossmoor Area)
Compensation: $45.00–$52.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience)
Program: Stable, In-House Therapy (Not a contract agency)

Your Impact & Responsibilities:
Functional Recovery: Deliver high-quality therapeutic treatments as directed by the supervising OTR, helping residents master Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and regain their independence.
Clinical Excellence: Ensure all treatments align with physician-approved plans and document daily progress with precision according to the OT Board State Practice Act.
Interdisciplinary Leadership: Assist in training Restorative Aides and provide in-service education to ensure a 24/7 rehabilitative environment.
Team Communication: Maintain open, proactive lines of communication with the OTR, nursing staff, and families regarding resident goals and successes.
Discharge Success: Educate families and caregivers on maintenance programs and functional strategies to ensure a safe transition home.
