After completing training, they work at one of 53 Flight Service Stations (FSS) across the country. 9 of the 53 FSS are in the Region FIR: Gatineau, Iles-de-la-Madeleine, Kuujjuaq, La Grande, Mirabel, Mont-Joli, Rouyn, Sept-Iles and Val d'Or.

FS Specialists working at Flight Information Centres (FIC) provide pre‑flight and in‑flight services such as weather briefings, flight planning support, and updates on airspace restrictions or hazards.
