Job Overview:

The Collections Repo and Redemption Team Leader will be responsible for providing daily supervisory support to assigned agents supporting MBFS internal and external customers; training, coaching, and developing team members; effectively managing team workload while ensuring all KPI targets are met; managing various projects while identifying process gaps and benchmarking trends; and implementing change as needed to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness.  
 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, communication, and employee development through coaching, huddles, side-by-side assistance and training.  Execute management activities, including, but not limited to, performance appraisals, interviews, and talent selection, productivity monitoring, development discussions, and disciplinary actions.  Provide reward and recognition to employees.  Ensure the technical training and development of team members.  Provide one-on-one performance feedback on a regular basis, as well as, semi-annual performance reviews. (40%)
  • Manage the daily activities and schedule of team members and appropriately assign workload to ensure operational targets are met. (20%)
  • Ensure CustomerONE service is provided through completion of assigned call reviews, scoring calls, and providing necessary coaching to team members. (20%)
  • Effectively manage Team Leader escalations. (10%)
  • Ensure adherence to compliance controls by ensuring that audits are conducted according to internal assessment schedules and that compliance goals are met; ensure the remediation of identified compliance risks. (10%)

Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position. 
This position requires a minimum of 2 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:

  • Business-General: 2 years
  • Collections: 2 years
  • Customer Service: 1 year

     

Education:
High School Diploma/(GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Recommended majors include:

  • Accounting
  • Business Administration

     

     

Additional Knowledge:

  • Minimum 1 year of previous leadership experience preferred.
