At Lifemark Physiotherapy Lake Beaumaris, we're looking for a passionate clinician and inspiring leader to join our team as Clinic Director. Located in North Edmonton, Lifemark Lake Beaumaris is a well-established interdisciplinary rehabilitation clinic serving a diverse patient population. Our collaborative team includes physiotherapists, chiropractors, occupational therapists, kinesiologists, and registered massage therapists, with specialized expertise in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, pelvic health, IMS dry needling, and advanced manual therapy.

As Clinic Director, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future success of the clinic. You'll lead and support a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, foster an exceptional patient experience, and drive continued growth within the community, all while maintaining your own rewarding clinical caseload.

What You'll Do

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to clinical and administrative team members
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered clinic culture
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development initiatives
  • Maintain an active clinical caseload and deliver exceptional patient care
  • Drive business growth through community engagement, networking, and relationship-building activities
  • Monitor clinic performance and implement strategies to achieve operational and financial objectives
  • Ensure clinical quality standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices are consistently maintained

What You'll Bring

  • Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate professional regulatory body in Alberta
  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience
  • Passion for developing and supporting clinicians throughout their professional journey
  • Strong business acumen and relationship-building skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Clinical Quality:

  • Ensuring quality improvement in the delivery of patient care.
  • Performing chart audits (reviewing treatment plans for accuracy, clinical reasoning & program selection)
  • Maintaining standards for communication (charts, letters, phone) with customers
  • Participating in lunch & learns (internal & external as required)
  • Ensuring effective and efficient implementation and development of clinic and corporate standard operating procedures.

Professional Development:

  • Business development, financial management and development of clinic business plans
  • Promoting a climate of success and the highest level of service within the clinic by strong supportive leadership and a positive attitude
  • Monitoring customer service programs to provide an outstanding experience to patients, physicians and other clients
  • Maintaining a strong presence in the clinic, mentor and develop potential leaders within the team for the benefit of future growth of the organization.
  • Demonstrating clinical leadership and expertise through mentorship and the management of professional development for clinical staff
  • Performing 1:1 monthly meetings with all clinical staff- review of physiotherapist scorecard and other objective measures of performance
  • Developing corrective action plan when performance issues are identified
  • Assisting Office Manager in recruitment and hiring of staff
