Civilian Specialist I

The position of Civilian Specialist is critical for the Sheriff's Office as a support function in the Detention Bureau and other divisions and may be assigned to other areas of the organization based on operational needs.  This position provides support in the areas of lobby, booking desk, control centers, alarm monitoring, property room, inmate programs, classifications, court coordinator, and records.  The position provides assistance to citizens and responds to emergency and routine calls for service in accordance with organizational policies and regulations under the general supervision of a superior officer.  Civilian Specialists assist in providing an environment that is professional and humane for all inmates as charged to the Sheriff by...
