Collaborate with third-party software teams to troubleshoot interface and integration issues.
Work with product management and development teams to ensure new integration features meet functional requirements.
Document defects, reproduce customer issues, and support validation through product release.
Required Skills and Experience:
2–5 years of experience testing software integrations, industrial software, or enterprise applications.
Basic understanding of electrical power systems, including one-line diagrams and common electrical equipment.
Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger, Insomnia, or similar.
Familiarity with OPC UA communications and industrial data exchange.
Experience validating multi-system software integrations.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across internal engineering teams and external software vendors.
U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency/work authorization
Desired skills
Experience working with SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DMS, or industrial software platforms.
Knowledge of telemetry, real-time data acquisition, and tag mapping concepts.
Familiarity with JSON, XML, and data exchange formats.
Understanding of authentication methods such as OAuth, API keys, and certificates.
Experience using network analysis tools such as Wireshark or Fiddler.
Experience with SQL databases and basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar) for test automation.
Knowledge of IEC 61850, OPC UA, Modbus, or other industrial communication standards.
Familiarity with issue tracking systems such as Jira.
Salary Range:
65,000.00 - 105,000.00 USD Annual
