Position Summary
The Inventory Control Coordinator is an exciting opportuning coordinating staff within the Supply Chain Operations team. Working with key stakeholders, you will collaborate to improve coordination efforts and programs while leading department projects and strategy efforts. From weekly research to program authorizations, this role offers you dynamic day to day functions and decision making opportunities.Responsibilities
- Works with key operational stakeholders within assigned facility and supply chain peers on Supply Chain operational improvement efforts and programs to lead and ensure a compliant, effective, and streamlined Supply Chain experience at the local site for all clinicians they serve
- Develop and improves inventory control policies and procedures and supports assigned clinical areas to ensure inventory control policies and procedures are properly implemented
- Manages assigned inventories through daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycle counts, annual physical counts, requisitioning replenishments, researching and seeking alternative sources and materials when necessary, maintaining communication with supported customers, monitoring supplies usage, and removing and disposing of obsolete or outdated products
- Researches and negotiates with vendors to ensure best pricing for materials
- Organizes and leads staff in conducting periodic inventory counts, adjusts quantities and locations, when necessary, and records and reports discrepancies to management
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Finance or Logistics/Supply Chain Management preferred
- Certification either as a Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP) from the American Hospital Association or a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) from the Society of Logistics Engineers or similar certification preferred
- Minimum three (3) years of materials management related experience required; preferably in a healthcare setting

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $26.56 - $38.22 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
