Job Description
1. Prepare Journal entries, account reconciliation and management reporting for Amazon legal entities;
2. Support the Management in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures and policies;
3. On the audit front, the analysts will manage department’s response to internal and external audit requirements and will also ensure compliance with SOX and policy requirements;
4. Work with finance Operation peers / Central accounting to resolve and escalate issues noted from accounting reconciliation and follow up the action plan to ensure the issue is entirely fixed;
5. Participate/lead projects that contribute to the team's overall efficiency;
6. Analyze data provided by variant tools and systems for internally financial analysis, reporting and documentation;
7. Play an important role in promoting systems/process development and AI tools to ensure ongoing efficiency and control improvements;
8. Other ad hoc tasks assigned.

- Ability to solve problems independently in an ambiguous and fast paced environment
- Relevant experience in Month end closing of Books of accounts / working on Balance sheet Reconciliation & Reporting activities/ Accounting Knowledge
- Bachelor degree in accounting or finance or above
- AI experience and delivered the process automation or simplification in production
- Goal driven, result orientated, self-motivated, able to step back and look at the bigger picture
- 4+ years of Accounting/Finance/Operations experience
- Base pay for this position starts from EUR 2108+ gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card, career development.
- Significant experience of project management & analysis within a fast paced multitasking driven
- CPA or Chartered Accountant equivalent certificate is preferred.
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- Six Sigma certification.
- Experience of Oracle R12 is preferred. Hands on experience on accounting & reconciliation process
