What You'll Do... As our Office Administrator, you'll play a key role in keeping our office running efficiently while creating a positive experience for employees, visitors, candidates, and vendors. You'll coordinate meetings and company events, support employee onboarding, manage office supplies and facilities needs, oversee mail and shipments, maintain records and company systems, and provide administrative support to teams across the organization. Every day brings something a little different, so we're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes initiative, and keeps the details from falling through the cracks. While most days follow a regular schedule, occasional extended hours may be needed to help prepare for meetings, training sessions, or employee events.
Who You Are... So, what does it take to be successful as the Office Administrator at American Pest? For starters, you'll have At least 2 years of administrative/office experience. You'll also have...
- Experience in ordering supplies and catering, budgeting, running errands for executives, and document scanning preferred
- Experience using MS Windows/Office and cloud-based software
- Experience with creating meetings/scheduling in Outlook
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, familiar and comfortable with pivot tables
- The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to think quickly and clearly
- The ability to effectively manage your time and prioritize multiple tasks
- The willingness to take initiative
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A high level of attention to detail or organization with a desire to get things right
- Experience setting up computers and audio/visual equipment
- Strong data entry skills and a high level of accuracy
- The ability to be a positive, up-beat, team-player
- The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
- A high school diploma or equivalent
