Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:  The Group Facilitator is responsible for the overall preparation and facilitation of quality IPAEP groups.  S/he will display and encourage the character traits of honesty, respect, caring and responsibility in the fulfillment of all job duties.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

Program/Department Responsibility:

 

  • Facilitate IPAEP groups as assigned
  • Ensure that all groups are in compliance with approved curriculum
  • Ensure that all groups are consistent with DPH, and IPAEP standards, policies and procedures
  • Complete client assessments
  • Make necessary referrals to outside agencies or departments as needed.
  • Participate in scheduled supervision and other IPAEP meetings as assigned.
  • Maintain and file client data and information as assigned
  • Complete monthly client report

 

Supervision of Personnel:  None.

 

Fiscal Responsibility:  Adhere to all fiscal policies and procedures such as petty cash purchase orders, vouchers and employee expenses as requested.

 

Facility/Housekeeping Responsibility:  Ensure that the program areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

 

Interdivisional/Community/Volunteer Responsibility:

  • Attend IPAEP meetings as assigned.
  • Attend the OCC meetings as assigned.
  • Actively participate in the Y’s Annual Strong Kid’s campaign.
