
Laundry Technician
Job Description
Essential Job Function:
- Sorts and distributes clean and soiled linens in order to replenish par levels of linens required for daily operations.
- This position will adhere to the environmental and infection control standards established by OSHA, JCAHO and other regulatory agencies.
- Helps to maintain equipment, such as the cleaning cart, in order to ensure the continuity of service with limited disruptions.
- Communicates in a professional manner with the hospital staff and departments to share relevant information and serve the community's needs.
- Assists with laundry record keeping documenting the number of materials cleaned and processed on a regular basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Required: 1 year.
